Did you guys take the boards out behind the woodshed and shoot them?

I was thinking about the same thing ):

Thanks for the heads up. I will have to get with Jeff on it. The community site's hosting was something he was taking care of. Hopefully its only a temporary situation. How long has it been down?

300 on the IMAX was absolutely awesome. Kris and I saw it there last Sunday. It will be one of the few movies that I'll actually go buy on DVD when it comes out instead of just tossing it on the netflix queue. JUST. AWESOME.

Jeff, Metra... It's the way to really fly...

Though seriously, I would never drive downtown anymore now that I take Metra. No stress, you can do other things on the train like read, listen to podcasts, use a laptop, whatever without worrying about crashing. Can't beat it really...

The boards haven't been down for too long. I was on there last night before I went to bed. Please tell me they will be back.

    Jeff,
I feel your pain about the commute. Crown Point to Romeoville is usually ok but since winter is making it's way into construction, I'm ready to become a highway sniper.

the cape cod - boston commute is 2 hours during the week and 1 hour on the weekend the last 15 miles adds a hour and if you ever been to massachussets you know how we drive.

Hey boys! Great to hear you are back for season 2. I have missed your 'cast. I can't say I haven't busy myself, I'm doing a new podcast after I ended my Star Wars 'cast. It's Pod Escape, and you can all listen to it at http://pod-escape.com. I have 3 episodes up hope you enjoy them, very different from what you cover in your show.

Hey good to hear from ya Star Wars Brian. Sorry helps me keep the all Brians organized.

Very cool about the new podcast. I will give it a listen and let ya know what I think. In that line of thinking I hope you stop by http://www.thegamemastershow.com for my new one.

About the GCR Community being down. Jeff is on vacation right now. I will shoot him an email and see if there is something that he can do. Other then that I am at a loss.

Great to hear you guys back on the digital air again - I was about to give up on the feed. I hope Season 2 survives contact with Baby 2. :)

The Game Master Show sounds like a great idea -- I just subscribed to the feed and look forward to listening to it during this week's commute. Speaking of which ... your adventures in Chicago sound about as much fun as mine used to be on I-78/I-287 in New Jersey. My worst day ever was one Halloween that turned an hour commute into a 4.5 hour one.

Anyway, good show, and it's great to have you back.

All I have to say is I have the coolest wife ever. She just called me to let me know she was walking out of a)my favorite store Toys 'R Us and b) she bought me while she was there. There's not much else to say but ALRIGHT!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!

"...b) she bought me while she was there..."

Man, I wish we could delete our own comments on this page. Mario what's up with that??

In my excited and slightly tired state I failed to mention that she bought me a Wii while at my favorite store. ALRIGHT YE..... so you get the picture, right?

A few months ago Paul Tevis recorded a gaming session for his show. Although I had heard of RPGs, I didn't know anyone who played them so I couldn't wrap my head around how it was actually done. I knew there wasn't a board or pieces and that people used books for guidance, but that was it. Listening to that gaming session made the whole concept of RPGs clear to me.

Thanks for the feedback. So what do you think of RPG's now? If you like the show that Paul Tevis did you could listen to another podcast I do call The Game Master Show http://www.thegamemastershow.com or you could listen to The Rolemonkeys. They are a part of The Harping Monkey http://www.harpingmonkey.com
